In Kentucky, the general statute of limitation is one year from the date of the injury or accident that pertains to premises liability cases, product liability cases, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect. The statute of limitations is extended in a motor vehicle accident case. In motor vehicle accident cases, the statute of limitation is two years from the date of the accident or the last PIP or no-fault payment, whichever is later.
