A straightforward Louisville law firm that works on a contingency fee basis

How much can you afford to spend for an experienced, knowledgeable personal injury lawyer in Louisville, Kentucky? If you have asked yourself this question, you’ve contacted the wrong lawyer. At the Slechter Law Firm, we don’t charge people by the hour regardless of whether or not they win or lose. You only pay us if you win and get paid.

This form of payment is known as a “contingency fee.”* By working with people this way, you don’t have to worry about whether you can afford to hire a lawyer to fight for your rights.

Essentially, we don’t get paid unless you get paid. On personal injury cases, our fee is 33.33 percent of the gross amount we recover on cases settled prior to litigation, and 40 percent on cases we resolve after a lawsuit has been filed.

On Workers Compensation cases, the fee we can charge is regulated. By law, we can only charge 20 percent for the first $25,000 we recover, 15 percent of the next $10,000 we recover and 5 percent of the remainder, with the fee capped at $12,000.
No strings attached, no gimmicks. If you don’t win, you don’t pay

By working on a “contingency contract,” we are also able to pay up front for expenses associated with building a case on your behalf. A lot of time and money can be spent obtaining records, hiring experts, filing suit, taking depositions and creating exhibits. We pay for these expenses in advance. If we successfully litigate your case and obtain a settlement, we reimburse ourselves. If we don’t recover any money on your behalf, you owe us nothing.

Mounting a strong legal case on your behalf should be your only concern. You should not be worrying about whether you can afford to hire a lawyer, especially if you sustained a serious injury in an auto accident or any other type of injury.

Don’t leave your future to chance. This may be your only opportunity for justice. Make the most of it. Contact the Slechter Law Firm. To reach us by phone, please call (502) 384-7400 or toll-free at (855) 598-7425. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

* (COURT COSTS AND CASE EXPENSES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT if we win or settle your case).
